Greg Little Resigning as Deputy CDAO to Join Palantir
Greg Little is set to leave his role as the Department of Defense’s inaugural deputy chief digital and artificial intelligence officer for enterprise platforms and business optimization at the end of July.
A spokesperson for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office has confirmed that Little, who will speak at the Potomac Officers Club’s Integrating for Mission Success Forum on Aug. 10, is leaving to join Palantir. His role at the artificial intelligence and big data analytics company, which provides services to the DOD and other federal agencies, has yet to be disclosed, DefenseScoop reported.
Prior to joining CDAO, Little served as director of the Chief Financial Officer Data Transformation Office in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense Comptroller. He also served as a solution architect for the Defense Agencies Initiative, during which he was responsible for the largest Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Release 12 Technical Upgrade in North America.
His resignation comes as CDAO works to improve the morale of its employees after a recent workforce survey revealed personnel dissatisfaction with leadership. In a letter, lawmakers from the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies and Information, noted that CDAO has the lowest score in the survey and is the only one with a negative review among DOD components.
