ManTech Names Peter Ward VP of HR, Talent Acquisition for MSS Group
ManTech announced it has appointed Peter Ward as vice president of human resources and talent acquisition within the company's mission solutions and services group.
Ward brings into the company two decades of experience in developing career opportunities. He is expected to help maintain ManTech the government services contractor industry's "employer of choice," the company said.
Matt Tait, ManTech's president of MSS and a Potomac Officers Club member, said Ward will fit perfectly into the company's culture of career enablement.
"He will apply his proven skills to build on our company’s reputation as the most exciting place to work, and where all share our commitment to 'bringing digital to the mission' for customers in innovative ways that safeguard national and homeland security,” Tait said.
Ward will report to Bonnie Cook, ManTech's executive vice president of operations for MSS and a Potomac Officers Club member.

Ward previously worked at BAE Systems for nearly 19 years. He most recently spent 10 years as BAE's senior director of HR whose responsibilities include talent management, organizational development, compensation, benefits and talent acquisition.
His other roles at BAE include HR manager, HR representative, compensation representative and recruiter.
Ward began his professional career in August 2000 as a recruiter at Manpower Professionals, a staffing and recruiting company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Plymouth State University and master's degrees in business administration and leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
Ward also attended a BAE-sponsored executive leadership and strategy education program at the University of Oxford's Said Business School.
