Onclave Networks Receives First-Ever Zero Trust Authority to Operate

The Defense Health Agency has granted Onclave Networks the authority to operate its zero trust-based cybersecurity services.

The move makes the cybersecurity firm the first secure communications platform to receive an ATO based on zero trust principles, Onclave said.

Onclave CEO James Taylor said the achievement validates the company’s innovative technology and commitment to protecting national health care systems. Taylor further emphasized the importance of the milestone in paving the way for the wider adoption of zero trust architectures within the federal government.

Oclave’s TrustedPlatform is a zero trust-guided network overlay that safeguards networks by cryptographically securing vulnerable information technology, operational technology and internet of things devices from malicious cyberattacks.

Apart from the DHA, the White House Communications Agency and NATO are also using Onclave’s zero trust platform.

Manish Thakur, Onclave’s board member and managing partner at Option3, believes the ATO positions Onclave for further growth across the federal government.
