Peraton Secures $8B FBI IT Support Services BPA
The FBI has selected several contractors to fulfill its information technology needs in a deal worth $8 billion over the next eight years.
On Sunday, Peraton announced that it had received an Information Technology Supplies and Support Services second generation blanket purchase agreement from the FBI. It is among the 31 full-and-open businesses that secured the BPA. Under the $8 billion deal, the vendor will provide the agency’s Information Technology Acquisitions unit with business application, workplace and infrastructure services, Peraton said.
Mike King, chief growth officer at Peraton, said that the new BPA shows the FBI’s confidence in partnering with the company comes from the depth and expertise Peraton has provided customers in a wide range of industries.
Peraton and the other companies will perform the services across multiple locations, including Huntsville, Alabama, Pocatello, Idaho, and Washington, D.C.
The BPA is not the only contract Peraton has secured in June. Earlier in the month, it was selected to be part of the Defense Enterprise HR Applications and Data Services blanket purchase agreement, competing alongside the other nine vendors to secure task orders on modernizing the Defense Manpower Data Center.
