Satcom Global to Continue Supplying Satellite Communications to US Agencies With GSA Contract

The General Services Administration has awarded Satcom Global a five-year contract to continue providing U.S. government agencies with satellite airtime and equipment.

The contract simplifies the procurement process for government agencies by providing a pre-vetted pool of qualified vendors, Satcom Global said.

The streamlined approach ensures pre-established pricing and terms, expediting the acquisition of essential communication solutions for government departments. According to the satellite communication provider, its inclusion in the list of pre-approved suppliers assures its customers that the services are transparent and secure.

Bo Feely, vice president of Satcom Global Americas, said the award reflects the company’s dedication to delivering reliable and advanced solutions to meet the evolving communication needs of the U.S. government.

The new contract extends Satcom Global’s track record in the government sector, where it has been providing communication solutions for over 25 years.

Satcom Global’s portfolio includes land-based satcom services and hardware, including handheld satellite phones such as the Inmarsat IsatPhone2 and the Iridium Extreme 9555 and rugged options such as the Iridium Extreme 9575.
