Brian Durden is a Cloud and Edge Platform Engineer with 20+ years of development experience across the entire software stack now entering a new Domain Engineer and Technical Advisor/Champion role. He is an avid proponent of Platform Engineering principles, Devops/SRE, Agile XP, and automation-enabling patterns applied using cloud-agnostic tooling. He has been referred to by his peers as 'the Kubernetes Mad Scientist' and 'MacGuyver' due to his focus on getting the job done. He has become the Harvester SME & Evangelist at Rancher Government Solutions and has a portable Homelab Edge kit he calls "The Deathstar." Brian is
also strongly-opinionated about working with partners to deliver more cohesive and capable solutions to his customers.
