Commander (CDR) Damon Melidossian is a native of Scituate, Rhode Island. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rhode Island College in January 1999. He earned a commission in the United Stated Navy from the Officer Candidate School in 2000.
CDR Melidossian assignments include, Assistant Ship’s Intelligence Officer (ASIO) onboard the USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA-3); Watch Officer, PACOM J2 Indications and Warnings (I&W) Watch Floor, and Liaison Officer to the Special Operations Command-Pacific (SOCPAC), Joint Intelligence Center Pacific (JICPAC); Strategic Debriefer for Field Operating Base, Naples, Italy; Intelligence Exploitation Team 2 (IET-2) Officer-in-Charge, Assistant Operations Officer, and Training Office Department Head (N7), Navy Expeditionary Intelligence Command (NEIC); American Legation United States Naval Attaché (A/ALUSNA), United States Defense Attaché Office (USDAO) Tel Aviv; and Deputy Director, Navy Attaché Affairs. CDR Melidossian is currently assigned to the Space Development Agency.
