David Korn
Chief Engineer
SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2)
David Korn is the Chief Engineer for SAP National Security Services (NS2). He is responsible for applying SAP technologies and products for solutions across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Korn specializes in large scale data integration & analysis, machine learning and empowering organizations in the areas of Intelligence, data fusion, ISR, and geospatial situational awareness.
Korn has more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sector, in a variety of executive management, consultative and engineering positions. His background spans research & development, development engineering, system integration & field deployment, business system modernization, and program management.
Before joining SAP NS2, Korn held key roles as program manager and chief engineer responsible for developing imaging and testing systems for the U.S. Air Force.
Korn also served across multiple Defense organizations in CTO and key management roles managing supply chain solutions, data modernization, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). These experiences also led to Korn taking leadership positions in the areas of C3I, air traffic control, air defense, ELINT, IMINT, mission planning and remote sensing in fixed-shelter, ground mobile and airborne platforms.
Prior to his work in the Defense industry, Korn held various development & system engineering positions in the areas of semiconductor design & production, development, display processor development, computer development, and telecommunication & network equipment engineering.
Mr. Korn holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Temple University and a Master of Engineering Degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
