Colonel Seeley leads a combat support directorate responsible for; cyber security, emerging technologies, data and infrastructure standardization, functional integration, health informatics, clinical/ business applications to operate and maintain the MHS mission for 699 MTFs worldwide. He plans, programs, budgets, and executes an $11B HIT portfolio. He develops and enforces HIT policy, deploys new HIT capabilities, and ensures HIT and EHR program requirements are met. He provides executive oversight, coordination and leadership of the U.S. Armed Forces Medical technology and is a principal military advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, DHA Director, and DOD and Sr. Medical Leaders on all HIT matters. Previously Colonel Seeley served as Chief, DHA Infrastructure and Operations, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), HQ USAF Office of the Surgeon General; CIO, Air Force Medical Operations Agency; Chief Operating Officer (COO), DHA HIT Infrastructure Support Branch; Commander, 7th Medical Support Squadron; Acting Commander and Administrator, 7th Medical Group; Chief Enterprise Architect (EA), AF Medical Service.
