Michael F. McGhee is the Executive Director for Climate Resilience at the United States Department of Defense and a member of the Senior Executive Service. His responsibilities include overseeing policies and programs to ensure climate, installation, and energy resilience and sustainable operations for DoD installations. He holds multiple Master’s degrees including a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy, an MBA, and a Master of Arts in Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. McGhee has worked in an executive capacity in the US military for 10 years with experience in energy and environmental strategy and policy, resilient and renewable energy project development, congressional affairs, and construction management. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
